Yet another little look at the work I will be exhibiting next week. The above photograph montage is of a Piece on the bottom of a table. I drew from photograph I had taken 3 years ago in a small village in Swaziland. A row of children sat with their feet facing me. It represents innocence. The piece is called See4Cash, which was scratched into a desk at a local school.  The picture below shows some tiny hand crafted labels, you’ll have to come and see the exhibition and see if you can find them.

The exhibition “PreView Three Views” Launches on the 2nd June at 6.30 untill 9.30 at the USURP Art Gallery. It runs untill the 9th june, open every day 12-8pm.

During the length of the exhibition special events will be taking place including Shop Bought, Custom Made on june 5th, This is an ongoing collaborative work by Usurp artists. A mannequin is the centrepiece of the exhibition and will be painted, customised, taken apart, and put together again. See a reworking live with music.
