Aoife Twomey is a community artist who works directly with people from various backgrounds to unearth the hidden stories of the citizens of the world. She currently focuses on those living in London and the UK but has big dreams to expand her work internationally, creating intercultural dialogue to contribute the Global Citizenship movement. Having gone through many stages Aoife’s own art practice encompases tacktile paintings and textiles pieces to digital photography and filmmaking. This transition is clear to see throughout this blog as the focus changes as fast as her own. Aoife currently works as a Youth and Community Filmmaker at Chocolate Films, a social enterprise working with disadvantaged people in communities.

This blog aims to look at national and international development with a focus on Global Citizenship, Creative Practices, Voice and Non Mainstream Education.
